Recipe – Mini Protein Bounty Bars
Conquer Your Sweet Cravings With These....
Here’s another recipe from our Fitness Formation Cookbook, and this is an awesome recipe for those of you with a sweet tooth:
Ingredients
4 scoops of white chocolate protein powder
100g unsweetened desiccated coconut
30g coconut milk
100g 70% + dark chocolate
Method
1. In a mixing bowl, bring together coconut, whey, and coconut milk until it forms a large, firm ball.
2. Place a clean bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Break the chocolate into the bowl. Do not allow the water to touch the bowl. Melt the chocolate and give it a stir.
3. Use a dessert spoon to size the coconut dough, roll into a ball and then shape into a mini bar. Repeat this 12 times.
4. Using the dessert spoon, dip and roll each bar into the melted chocolate and place on a plate. Repeat this for all 12 bars.
5. Using a teaspoon, spoon the melted chocolate over each bar and smooth. Put the bars into the fridge and allow to set.
