Many things in life come and go. One moment we have them, and the next minute we don’t. Motivation is one of those things that we often have a battle of wills against.

Some days, we are pumped. The weather is good. Our mindset is dialled in. We are ready to run through brick walls to achieve the things we need to achieve.

The next day, we are low. The weather has turned. We’re not feeling the urge to get sh*t done. We procrastinate. Our goals can wait.

In this blog, we’re going to highlight a couple of the things that may be conspiring against you. It’s not just the weather that is the problem for you not achieving what you are capable of.

Some of them we have spoken about at greater length before in other blogs, but we’ll bullet point some here for you:

Toxic people – One of the saddest things we here (on too regular an occasion) is people who are left with doubt in their mind by the people that they love, respect and admire the most.

Family, and friends.

“You look too butch”. “You look too skinny”. “You’ve lost too much weight”. These insecure people haven’t got the drive, the desire, and the dedication that you have.

We post content several times a week. We hope you enjoy it. We hope it educates you. We hope you listen and take action on many of things that we post.

Blog Title - Toxicity

Now….

We ask one thing of you. Just one. From everything that we have written before and everything, you have read before.

DO. NOT. LISTEN. TO. THESE. PEOPLE.

We don’t care who they are. Period.

Husband. Wife. Mum. Dad. Bestie. Ignore their comments, and views. These people are jealous of your success. They’re jealous of the fact that you have finally taken action. Their views are toxic and poisonous.

Disregard them in the same manner that they have disregarded the effort it has taken to get to where you are now. If you can, eliminate them from your life altogether.

Your past. Your future – You cannot, and will not, ever be able to change it. It’s gone. Let go of it. Walk forward. The only time you should ever look back, is to see how far you have come. Do what you can, with what you have got. Right now. Live in the present.

And equally so, do not be too concerned by the possibilities of what could happen in the future. No one knows what will happen. Keep on moving forward.

Comfort – People don’t achieve incredible things by being comfortable. That may be the failings of those around you who continue to try to drag you down with them. No one achieves anything in their comfort zone. You know that. To look, and feel as great as you do now, didn’t come easy. Stay away from comfort. Embrace the discomfort. Embrace the thrill of the chase.
