This Christmas, try increasing your intake of fat burning green vegetables and aim to have 2 portions of watercress, broccoli, cabbage, kale, sprouts or spinach. Watercress or spinach can be eaten straight from the bag so are the perfect on the go fat burning snacks.

Here’s a great way to get your greens in a smoothie and you don’t even taste them.

Ingredients

2 celery sticks

¼ cucumber

1 tsp cashew nut butter

1 tsp coconut oil

Handful of spinach & watercress

½ avocado

Splash of coconut milk, rice or almond milk

Ice cubes

Recipe - Green Smoothie

Method

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Drink immediately.
