Before I started with Fitness Formation, I looked upon gyms and exercise as a waste of time and money. If anyone asked me to go to a gym my response was always “Don’t swear at me”.

When my Grandad passed away and we found out he was riddled with cancer, my sisters and I wanted to do something to raise money for St Johns Hospice and we came across FF doing Born Survivor in 2015 and decided to join the team.

We new we had to do some training to be able to tackle this event and so together we started jogging or biking around Rylands park and attending the Sunday morning training setup by Fitness Formation. It was the hardest yet most satisfying thing we had ever achieved in the memory of our grandad, and with the fun and friendly training they provided helped me change my opinion on exercise.

Alex Sutcliffe - Success Story

Still not knowing where to start if I was to walk into a gym on my own, I started at FF on a ’28 Day Challenge’ and loved every minute of it. After the 28 days were up I couldn’t see how I could justify the fees being charged, but within a couple of weeks I wanted to come back and managed to borrow the funds to sign up for the year.

I have seen a loss of a stone in weight over the year, and have seen a change in my body shape and strength.

I love Fitness Formation as a gym. It’s friendly, has a good atmosphere and good workouts.
