Your productivity can easily be linked back to your nutrition. If we eat unhealthy foods, we are going to impact our mind, and our body. As well as our physical health, healthy eating is good for our metal health.

The brain requires nutrients just like other organs within the body. Here’s a few idea’s of how to keep your head in the game, and get ahead with your productivity:

Essential fatty acids are needed through our nutrition, as they cannot be synthesised by the body. The best source of EFA’s is found in oily fish such as salmon, kippers & trout. Other sources include pumpkin seeds, and soya beans. All are a good boost for brain function.

A great source of Vitamin C to boost brain power is blackcurrants, which are widely available in any supermarket, or local food store.

Snack on nuts & pumpkin seeds throughout the day to boost Vitamin E & Zinc levels, both powerful memory enhancing snacks. And miles better than snacking on chocolate!

Choose Low – GI whole grains, which gradually release glucose into the bloodstream. Think of the likes of brown pasta, brown rice & wholemeal bread.

Some people may lack the RDA of micro nutrients (vitamins & minerals), so you may want to consider a multi – vitamin or omega – three supplement.

Simple equation. Healthy body, healthy mind.
