Parents may feed their children a diet rich in processed foods and sugary drinks, rather than a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. By taking the time to enforce healthy eating from an early age will help them to make better choices through their younger years and into adulthood. Taking the time to involve the children in the preparation of meals will educate them in healthy foods and the ways to cook them.

Our day to day activity often leads to us to make the choices that we do. But with a bit of forward thinking, we can ensure that future generations have a better understanding of the right choices.

Taking the time to educate our children means that they will not become a part of this statistic.
