Me and my little sis Nic, aka Gino, joined the ‘Six Week Challenge’ at Fitness Formation in April after being at another local gym for three years.

At our old gym, we had become a bit complacent about our levels of fitness and had started being a bit lazy during training sessions.

Well, what a shock it was when we did our first session at Fitness Formation….

It was very tough. I think our bodies went into shock!

With a lot of sweating, swearing and grunting (we are the noise makers!) we think the sessions are fab. We really embrace the ethos, which for us is to work hard, increase fitness levels and have lots of laughs.

We know we are a bit loud, full on and we tend to moan a lot during training but thankfully we feel accepted for being a bit weird.

We already feel much fitter and stronger. We are not perfectly toned but we feel fantastic. Fitness for us is not about being a size zero, it’s about being able to lift beer barrels (I own a pub), hike up a mountain (Nic loves walking and bird watching), run/walk 10k obstacle courses (we have done five now) and being able to push the prowler!

Fitness Formation, the coaches and all the lovely gym members are ace and we are glad we discovered you.
